Renal artery stenosis is narrowing of the arteries that supply the kidneys, which can cause or worsen high blood pressure.
It may be suspected when blood pressure is hard to control or kidney function worsens after starting certain medicines.
It is confirmed with imaging and treated to protect the kidneys and control blood pressure.
