IgA nephropathy is a condition where an antibody called IgA builds up in the kidney filters, causing inflammation.
A common sign is blood in the urine, often after a cold or infection. Protein in the urine and high blood pressure may also appear.
Management focuses on blood pressure control, reducing protein leak, and regular monitoring of kidney function.
